Very nice place for your stay in Ennis. We stayed for 2 nights, and were very pleased with the accomodation. Within Walking distance to the centre, Clean and parking facilities in front of the door.
Our stay at Glenomra House was the perfect start to our Irish holiday. Mary greeted us promptly upon arrival and after a long overnight flight made sure our room was ready. The room itself was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The location is great, quiet but an easy walk to town. Mary is a gracious and charming host.
If you are travelling from Shannon Airport, as you leave take the N19, then take the M18 north (Galway). approx 12 km later take Exit 12 - Ennis, stay on N85 for another 2.5km - you will approach the Clareabbey roundabout, take the 3rd exit, R 458 to Town Centre - follow this road for another km, passing 2 smaller roundabouts en route. After the last roundabout you will see a set of traffic lights ahead, and Glenomra is situated on the right hand side of the road before The Apple Green Petrol Station - always feel free to give me a call if you get loose your way, or roll down the window of your car and ask for directions to St Flannans College, a large grey stone building just directly across the road from Glenomra.
